My VSTi host (Brainspawn Forte 4) manages the 5 stereo output buses that I use, mapping them to Tascam outputs 1 to 10 (1-2, 3-4, etc..) in Audio Interface mode. What I don't understand is why the first 4 buses (1 to 8) work individually while playing a VSTi that is routed to bus 5 (Tascam outputs 9-10) the sound is also sent to the output of bus 1 (i.e. Tascam outputs 1-2). The Tascam output control panel is correctly configured. I don't understand why outputs 9-10 should behave differently from the others. Is there something I'm missing?
The second situation I would like clarification on concerns the output level of the analog outputs which appears very high compared to the Presonus I had previously. I have not found to be possible to adjust the output level in any way. The mixer only works for the input signals while for the output signal I have not found any possibility of adjustment. It seems to me to be a significant shortcoming, for this reason I ask for confirmation regarding this impossibility. Thanks
