US-16x08 software/firmware current state

Hi. Is there anyone from Firmware DeV team here ?
There is somethings in this unit that's messing with me since day one, and it makes it unusable now with my new setup.
Apart of the unstable drivers, latency drifts.

It's really a simple fix about the computer out to stereo bus , making it only computer 1 and 2 to Stereo bus.
this way when i send Di signals to reamp or outboard in out 3 for example it wont route out to Stereo bus.

Imagine this as a 10year aniversary of the gear update. Its a nice unit but the drivers could make it a awesome unit.

I’ve been thinking about the Tascam 16x08, and there must be a reason why a product still on sale has this little software support.

It’s a very well-designed piece of hardware that has saved me from many difficult situations. It’s reliable and delivers great results. I can’t comment on the firmware, but when it comes to the end-user software, there are so many things that need to be fixed, changed, or added—yet there is no support on the software side. Windows users seem to be a bit luckier since they received a software update in 2020, while we poor macOS users have been stuck with the same software since 2016. Trying to use the Tascam US-16x08 Settings Panel on a 4K screen is an eye-straining experience!

At the very least, they could open-source the API so that developers could create an updated version, making better use of this great hardware’s capabilities while incorporating user feedback to add useful features within the hardware’s limits.

Just my five cents.
