Phil has some videos at the start of the series (tutorial #3, #5 and #8, I think in the July 2021 index) that address using the portastudio as a basic 8-track mixer; and a video on using the Send Effects function. His videos and posts are very easy to follow (much more so than the owner manual), and will be a tremendous resource for you.
But I very strongly recommend starting in that forum with the "
Please Read This First" sticky thread that has absolutely essential information for using your portastudio.
At some point down the road after you've had some time with your DP-24SD, I recommend reviewing the indexes of the sticky threads dedicated to
"Equipment Tips"; and "
Production Tips".
