Tascam Model 16
I have a Tascam model 16, it happens to me that when I record or monitor the MAIN channel (15-16) from the computer via USB, the channel levels are slightly unbalanced towards the right one, even with a mono signal in a mono-line input.

Anyone have a similar problem?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

I've never even seen a ModelXX, and I wouldn't own one at gunpoint. But a coupla things occured to me right away that might be worth looking into:
Establish that the source material coming into the M16 is "balanced" to the degree you seek. This may involve using "test material" (known good), or even other equipment for comparison.
Do the usual elimination-method (make sure something ELSE isn't causing this discrepancy): bad cables, internal settings, plug-ins or other fx/utilities impacting the outgoing signals.
Check your routing and settings. ALL of it.

If you run it down, be sure to post about it, for the benefit of others.
Good luck!

@muanto, welcome to the forum. I don't use any of the Model series mixers, but a search of this forum will help discover if anyone has had a similar problem.

That said, I agree with shredd. It could be anything hardware or software in your signal chain, and that requires systematic effort to susse out, one thing at a time.

You could start by ruling out the mixer by disconnecting the mixer from the computer; assuring the mixer's firmware is up to date; confirming the SD card is on the TASCAM tested/approved list; and then testing the mixer's signal flow in a factory default state using a mono signal source and evaluating with a monitoring system you know to be accurate, preferably using external metering and well-regarded reference headphones.
