I will continue to use my DP-32SD for capture and tracking purposes. And for other functionality.

But going forward I will be relying more on Reaper and Cubase than in the past. It was an inevitability as I've become more comfortable with these platforms and editing with a mouse.

They're so incredibly affordable that I picked up a fully loaded AOOSTAR GEM 12 mini gaming computer ($500). WAY more computing muscle than I'll ever need or use. Already had a giant monitor, keyboard, mouse, and interface. The GEM will be dedicated for running the DAW(s).

So yeah... I was slow to go there fully. Dabbled for a long time - but here we are.... you know.... progress.

Cheers!

David, that's been my SOP for several years.

I've kept the laptop off the internet completely, using the initial operating system that came with it. DM me if you want to swap ideas.

David, Reaper user here too. I'm using some of the tracks I recorded on the DP-32 in Reaper. Now the DP-32 has been relegated to a live recorder.
