Problems retrieving my SD card from DR-10L Pro

I know the standard practice is to press the SD card in and then it is expected to pop back out. However, I have tried it and it refuses to come out even though the unit detects it as an invalid card.

How can I retrieve it now?

Clearly either the card itself, or the reader, have been damaged. If you're not a SERIOUSLY capable DIY'er/tech, seek professional servicing.

I figured it out. I had mistakenly put in a SIM card into that slot and used the point of a paperclip to dislodge it and tilted the SIM card enough that I was able to pull it out! I have put in a proper SD card and formatted it.
