I must be doing something wrong, because I have my Alesis q88 keyboard running midi out to midi in on the tascam model 12. I then have studio one open and create a new instrument track and open up Ezkeys or Kontakt 8 and open an instrument. As soon as I start hitting keys on the Alesis Q88 midi controller the track is removed from Studio one. It's like the keys are being used to control the interface. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to connect a keyboard controller to Tascam model 12 then use instruments in DAW?
