Hi there,
Someone I play music with has a drum synth with six unbalanced 1/4" outputs. I bought a snake cable to connect each output to an input on my Model 12, but I unwittingly bought a TRS cable instead of a TS. I know that if I turn on phantom power, the Model 12 will send 48v back over one of the connections in an XLR cable. Does it also send this power out over the ring connection on a TRS cable? Am I at risk of frying his gear if anyone hits the phantom power button on the Model 12 while using those cables to connect to his synth?
Thanks in advance!
